SUMMARY
In current version, it is possible to set actions for mouse wheel scroll over empty space (switch apps, desktops etc.).
I would also like to see other configurable 'empty space' actions. For example, middle click to open System monitor.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Latte dock plasmoid's settings
2. Check 'Empty space' category under 'Actions'

OBSERVED RESULT
Only mouse wheel action can be configured there

EXPECTED RESULT
See options to configure 'middle click' and 'double left click' actions

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.80.3
Qt Version: 5.15.2

Middle click action is not something it is used from other panel solutions. Especially an option that opens System monitor is out of scope.

A solution would be a new applet the fills all available space and gives you options in order to configure its behavior but this is out if Latte scope.

Is there such an applet available in Discover?
I guess it should also be built-in, in order to get 'Separator' applet properties in dock?

Okay, got it - there's 'Latte spacer' applet already available out there.
Just created feature request for this applet instead.
Thanks.
