I afraid this is most likely still a problem with your graphics driver. What you can try to do is to change the renderer Krita uses from/to ANGLE, using the latest 4.4.5 release: 1. Start Krita and embrace the flashing, then 2. Try to get to the display settings: https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/preferences/display_settings.html?highlight=angle%20opengl 3 Note the current renderer, then change it to the other setting (one of ANGLE or OpenGL) and restart Krita If this fails to solve the issue, please try to get to the "Help" -> "Show system information for bug reports" dialog and provide its contents.
