2. Some Web sites; that I had as favorite, do not function either
3. Youtube and Google mail are the only pages that function as usually

Hi, I think you did pick the wrong application.

Kate is KDE's advanced text editor, I would assume this sounds more like some browser bug unrelated to a text editor.
