SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Hold app icon(Signal for me)
2. Click pause icon
3. Confirm pausing
4. Receive message via application (this is not seen on the android device)

OBSERVED RESULT
Notification came through from Signal application


EXPECTED RESULT
No notification

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 20.10 using gsconnect

TIL about pausing apps.

I'm not sure about how to fix that. I don't see anything in https://developer.android.com/reference/android/app/Notification that indicates that the app is paused.

Maybe we can listen to https://developer.android.com/reference/android/content/Intent#ACTION_PACKAGES_SUSPENDED
