Confirmed. The settings button in the applet takes you to the KCM, rather than the applet config window, and there is no way to get to the applet config window either. This was probably done after we moved the last setting out of it and into the KCM, so it seemed like there was no reason you would ever want to access the applet config window... except for setting a shortcut, which you now can't do. Oops. The optimal solution wold be to have the settings button open the applet config window, and then we embed the KCM into the window. However we can only do that for QML KCMs, and the network KCM isn't QML. :( Options: 1. Do nothing. Laziest option. 2. Add a second action to open the applet config menu, and life with the ugliness of duplicate settings buttons. Easy, but provides a bad UI. 3. Finally port the KCM to QML, and then embed it. Best and hardest option. Note that you can assign it a shortcut from the system tray settings Right right right, that is true. I think it's fixed in Plasma 6. Yuup, working as expected in Plasma 6.
