Cannot reproduce with PulseAudio. I can reproduce this issue with Pulseaudio. Perhaps its a hardware related issue? What's the best way for me to dump audio hardware information for additional debugging? Note that repeatedly muting/unmuting without the Plasma PA widget open works just fine. It is only when the widget is open that this issue occurs. I can also see this running Plasma 5.22.4, Frameworks 5.85.0, Qt 5.15.2, Pipewire 0.3.33 on openSuse here. I also noticed that when this happens the CPU usage of plasmashell is at 100% and it starts using a lot of memory. I have two audio output devices, the MB integrated Realtek ALC1150, and HDMI Audio on AMD Radeon RX 480. I no longer experience this issue with Plasma 6. Closing |
