Libinput 1.17 very recently released with reportedly implemented two/three finger tap-and-drag ( https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/wayland-devel/2021-February/041733.html ). I've been waiting for a good three-finger drag implementation for a while now, so it would be great if that libinput update is a step in that direction and makes its way into the KDE options.

Hi, I really enjoy using three finger drag gestures when using macOS, and I really miss them when using Linux with KDE. They are also great for accessibility, Someone I know has recently injured their hand, and being able to use a modern trackpad without having to actually press on the trackpad to drag elements around was a big deal to them.

For anyone willing to take a shot implementing this functionality, I'm willing to pay a significant bounty to anyone who can get this implemented, and merged into KDE. If anyone thinks they can do it, please get in touch.

Looks like support for 3 finger drag gestures was just merged into libinput.
