Why the search from the new launcher and Krunner are merged together ? It would be better to separate them, because kicker search concerns only installed apps and files, while krunner is more like global and more advanced search utility with more search plugins.

If you enable many plugins, Kickoff becomes really slow to show search result, when all plugins are diabled the search becomes instant. We need really to separate enabled plugins for Kickoff from Krunner.
On 5.21.5, I'm suffering from an annoying delay of two seconds to show search results in Kickoff with plugins enabled.

Let's track that lag issue in a new bug report. Cannot reproduce FWIW.
