SUMMARY
The Battery and Brightness portion of the system tray doesn't report all power suppression actions.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set screen locker to auto lock after 1 minute
2. Open Elisa 
3. Wait 

OBSERVED RESULT
The screen never locks, and nothing is reported in the Battery and Brightness portion of the tray.

EXPECTED RESULT
Elisa's power suppression is reported in the tray.

Yes. Elisa suppresses power management when playing music, but when the music is paused or nothing is playing, it releases the suppression. This is intentional.

I understand that's the intention. I suspect there's a related bug with Elisa. For me, last night, my computer wasn't auto locking (ala Bug 433452), and Elisa was open but not playing anything. Nothing was reported in power management. When I closed Elisa, the system started auto locking again.

Now, interestingly, I just tried this again this morning and it is auto locking with Elisa opened and paused. There might be something more to this/there might be an intermittent component to this (unfortunately). Perhaps related to long sessions of music playback? Elisa stopping because it didn't find a song? etc.

FWIW, Bug 433452 is definitely the bigger deal.

This just happened again after several hours of music. Took a break, came back, and computer wasn't locked, no music was playing, and the screen was off. I tried to take a video demonstrating the bug, but realized I closed Elisa before I set the lock timeout to 1 minute (down from 5 minutes), so the minute of it not locking didn't mean anything.

In any case, after restarting Elisa the screen locked properly.

It's been a while since there was any update on this. Has the issue been resolved, or is it still a problem?

I no longer use Elisa; I do not know if this is still a problem.

I do, and this is always working for me. Not much more we can do here, methinks.
