SUMMARY

After adding about 20 bookmarks this message is shown but doesn't seem to stop bookmarks from being created.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add about 20 bookmarks to a file (tried with .php and .xml)
2.

Popup red message at bottom of screen

EXPECTED RESULT

No message

Thanks for your question.  No Vi mode - just defaults

This has been recently fixed with https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/ktexteditor/-/merge_requests/93

Based on the tagged releases, the fix will only get to kate in the next version.
