SUMMARY
An issue related to the scratchpad in Krita 4.4.3 nightly stable build

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open brush settings panel
2. Paint in the scratchpad for some time.
3. Continue until the problem occurs.

OBSERVED RESULT
Can't paint anymore in the scratchpad

EXPECTED RESULT
Brush strokes should continue to render rather than stop unexpectedly
forever until the app restarts.

By "4.4.3 nightly stable build", you mean the 4.4.3-beta1? This behavior is not something I can observe. Are you encountering this issue with a pen or a mouse?

The commit you noted in your report precedes the fix in https://invent.kde.org/graphics/krita/-/commit/7b9ee471b5a1d62b55646d934637fecc24155cab , did you check to see if this still happens in the current beta?

Not, I meant 4.4.3 alpha. It's not fixed in it...
But before I knew it, it went to 4.4.4 alpha. I will test the new build to check whether the fix was made or not.

I tested it. The scratchpad issue seems to have been fixed.
