SUMMARY
"Move to trash" not working

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
DEL key pressed ("Move to trash" a file) 

OBSERVED RESULT
Splash Screen "Moving -- Krusader" appears
File is NOT moved to Trash

EXPECTED RESULT
File is moved to Trash

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Linux Mint 20.1 4.8.6
          Kernel: Linux 5.4.0-65-generic
    Architecture: x86-64
        Krusader: 2.7.2 "Peace of Mind"
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
"Delete Files" works fine when set from Konfigurator/General/Delete Mode

I've tried it, though I found no problem using the git version of Krusader under Kubuntu 20.04 nor 20.10. Can you tell us if Dolphin has the same problem in your computer?

Nemo 4.8.4 has no problem. 
Krusader used to work fine, until something went wrong.
Krusader has no problem on my home machine which is very similar.
tried remove/purge didn't work

Nemo does not use KIO (it uses GIO as it is GTK-based). You can try to move to trash files using other KIO based software like Dolphin or Gwenview.

Did you tried to reinstall KIO or frameworks in general?
