SUMMARY

The mechanism is not completely clear, I turned on the option to update automatically in the settings, and I did not understand how it works, the update icon still pops up in the tray below, is this how it should be?
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Updates -> System Settings -> Updates programs -> Automatically
2. 
3. I do not understand . the update is already underway or is it a glitch with automatic updating, only I did not find an explanation

OBSERVED RESULT

In system tray if ready icon updates and wait to press mouse

Thanks for the bug report. I'm sorry we weren't able to get to this yet. There have been many fixes and improvements since this was reported, and this issue may have been fixed. I'm not able to reproduce this on Plasma built from git-master.

Can you please re-test on your system with Plasma 6.4.5 or later and let us know if you can still reproduce the problem? If you can, please set this report back to REPORTED. Thanks!
