This is not a bug, the thumbnails were not created when the collection was still online. The thumbnails are created when they are required by the item view. You have to be online longer with the collection and call up the alben so that all thumbnails are also available offline. Maik If you want to have the thumbnails available more quickly, you can start the creation of the thumbnails for the respective albums in the maintenance tool. Maik And one more note, use the current release candidate of digiKam-7.2.0 under Windows. Windows support has been further improved. https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Maik Use of version 7.2.0 as proposed: In offline mode display of all the thumbnails and all searches or filters work. Only the "Dates" filter does not display any thumbnails in offline mode on ablums from removable disk (See screenshot). The removable disk must be present for thumbnails to be displayed. Quit Digikam. Open Digikam with removable disk offline. Many thumbnails greater than 9088 are missing. 2- Viewing by Dates not possible ...
