Sorry, but my coffee isn't working this morning. Are you referring to the sidebar with the date navigator, to-do view, item viewer, and calendar manager? (For me it is on the left.) If so, if you use the Settings » Sidebar menu to uncheck those four items, the sidebar will disappear. Also, for me the main toolbar (Settings » Toolbars Shown » Main) contains Back and Forward buttons. If yours doesn't, check Settings » Configure Toolbars... . No problem, I quit coffee. I recommend a nice black tea as an alternative :) See the attached screenshot. The right navigation bar can't be hidden, as far as I can see. Created attachment 135729 [details]
Right navigation panel
Ah, yes, thanks. Perhaps the buttons should go into the header next to the month name, like their equivalents in the date navigator. I like that option best, though it sounds hardest to implement. I just noticed that if you click the "Display calendar in a full window" in the navigation bar, it puts month/year navigation buttons/arrows at the top of the calendar, along with clickable month/year names for quick navigation. Why not have that always shown and remove the navigation bar? This is now done for version 6.7 coming in April. ie. the navigator controls on the right side are gone. if you hide the sidebar you will see the controls at the top of the month view |
