SUMMARY
Certain categories under system settings like changing file associations (& few others) is not highlighted by the system, even when "highlight changed setting" option is enabled

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. enable highlight changed settings
2. go to file associations section
3. change default app for certain file type

OBSERVED RESULT
No changed setting indicated by the system settings

EXPECTED RESULT
Change should have been highlighted

Yes, this is a known issue. Not all pages have been ported to use the feature yet. More have been ported to use it in Plasma 5.21, and the remaining ones will be ported in Plasma 5.22. There aren't that many left, and this is ongoing, active work, so I'm gonna close the bug as RESOLVED LATER since it's as good as done in the near future. :)
