Since a few weeks I can watch dvb streams and video files using kaffeine under Wayland without any issues. The problem is solved for me, but I don't now after which update it started to work. |
Created attachment 135685 [details] Kaffeine coredump Kaffeine 2.0.18 from Debian 11 Bullseye crashes when used in a KDE Wayland session. Same system with KDE X11 and kaffeine is stable. Starting kaffeine from cli like this is stable in my wayland session: kaffeine --platform xcb The crash happens after less then a minute of viewing a videofile or tv using dvb. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start KDE Wayland session 2. Start kaffeine 3. View videofile or tv using dvb SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian 11 amd64 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Coredumps are recorded by systemd-coredump, i attached an stacktrace to this ticket.
