Description Dan Dascalescu 2021-02-14 12:20:20 UTC
Like many of the folks in #340982, I want to use English strings, but the sane ISO8601 YYYY-MM-DD date format, the HH:MM 24-hour format, and having the week start on Monday. With the en_US locale, the week starts on Sunday, and there seems to be no way to change this in the calendar.

Demand for this feature:

There somewhat is:

System settings -> formats -> time
Find a country that has the time formatted in HH:MM and starts on Monday

@David: as comment #9 in bug 394698 says, the UX is terrible.

I still haven't found a locale that has all the conditions I've listed, and neither have the folks from bug 340982. (Someone suggested creating a fake Sweding one). Anyway, that'd be a workaround. But if bug 394698 tracks selecting the start of the week, I'm fine with marking this a dupe.
