Created attachment 135667 [details] Ark Properties SUMMARY When we open large archive files(4.3 GiB) in ark & open properties then it takes lot of resources (see screenshot) to calculate checksums automatically. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open any large archive. 2. Open Archive menu & select properties. 3. OBSERVED RESULT The SHA-256 hash etc. are calculated automatically & takes lot of CPU resources. Also when we close properties window before calculation completes it doesn't free resources immediately. This slows down computer for few minutes. EXPECTED RESULT The checksums should not be calculated automatically, there should be an option to calculate checksums manually like dolphin does.
