Several KDE project have their own version of FindFFmpeg. These are:
kfilemetadata, kdelibs4support, ffmpegthumbs, k3b, krita, digikam, amarok, kid3 and subtitlecomposer

A canonical source for those in ECM would be nice.

There is a FindFFmpeg in attic, but it does not seem to be up to recent standards, e.g. it does not provide imported targets
