SUMMARY
Regardless of how bad of a UI choice such things may be, Zoom produces many of them and none of them seem to work. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open up a program with XWayland that produces a lot of popups(in my case Zoom)
2. cause the program to produce a popup window
3. The popup window does not appear.

OBSERVED RESULT
The popup window does not appear

EXPECTED RESULT
The popup window appears

Could you please provide more detailed steps to reproduce for people who don't use zoom?

Marking as needsinfo, this is unactionable at present.

I would also like a screenshot and an
`xwininfo -tree -root` at the time the popup is supposedly visible

Given we have not got other reports, I am skeptical that kwin is at fault.
