STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. in a mail create an event
2. in korganizer click on the vent
3. in the event click on the mail link

OBSERVED RESULT

the mail is not displayed

the mail is displayed

I'm testing Kontact 6.4

the event creation from kmail works, then I see the event in KOrganizer.
but I'm not seeing any link in the event that points back to the original email.
where do I need to look for that link?

Problem solved if you clic in the title of the created task this does not drive you to the mail or does not display the mail

moving to KMail because it needs to create the event with the link first.
if that's even possible.
