Are you using non-standard focus stealing settings? Or any other non-default settings? Can you test again in Plasma 5.21 (the beta, or the final release in a week or two)? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > Are you using non-standard focus stealing settings? Or any other non-default > settings? Yes I am. No I can't test it in plasma 5.21. I am guessing since you guessed what I did that it's fixed in 5.21. The thing is I new in the upcoming **major** update kde would have much better support for wayland. And today I got an update I thought it was the update I have been waiting for a long time. It turns out it was a **minor** update. Sorry for wasting your time No worries. :) What focus stealing setting are you using? Can can you verify that it's working again you switch to "Low"? Not that this is a good thing of course: all of the focus stealing settings should work properly! I just want to narrow down what exactly is broken. I just want to narrow down what exactly is broken. I tried with all focus stealing settings. Still the same behaviour. I still run kde 5.20. Once 5.21 is released on manjaro I will inform you if the problem is fixed I just updated to kde 5.21 and the problem still remains. the problem was that I disabled "click to raise active window" But the thing is I only want a window to be raised if I click the icon. Not if the focus changes to a new window Thanks for that info! I had a feeling it was going to be caused by some non-default setting in that KCM somewhere. Can't reproduce with 5.27, so this should be fixed. If it's still happening for you, please reopen the bug report |
