This appears to be an intermittent issue. Computer was left hibernated overnight but not restarted. On retrying Skrooge this morning, a warning was received that the data file had been reloaded from (exact wording not noted, implication was some kind of backup/copy file). Ignoring the warning allowed input and saving of new transactions and all worked normally (I had previously opted to reload from original file). If not possible to discover what the bug is, would a note in the manual be advisable? This is difficult to identify what happened. So, I close this incident. |
