SUMMARY
Often times I tile my file browser to the left or right side. When I do this on my 1366x768 laptop screen and activate the search feature in dolphin, dolphins layout gets squeezed and I need to undo it afterwards. This only happens with german not english, because german seems to be more verbose.
Dolphin even gets wider than before and the tiling is broken.

OBSERVED RESULT
- layout and tiling to only one half gets changed

EXPECTED RESULT
- layout stays the same but buttons in search field become scrollable

Actually I think bug 386754 is the opposite problem of this bug. In my case the search box does NOT get croppet but the left pane of dolphin (Places and so on ...).

The same problem occurs on 1080p Screen/4k with two times scaling.
