SUMMARY
When I maximize or unmazimize a window in wayland session. The window flashes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open a window
2. maximize or unmazimize window

Can you reproduce this bug with other applications? Also, can you reduce the animation speed in system settings please?

Window flash and show background for a second when maximize.

Ah, I see. The cross-fade animations leaks the background because it's not implemented properly.

I noticed this bug on neon unstable yesterday.

This is no longer an issue as described as we have no cross fade animations.
