Can you please describe your situation more precisely? What do you mean by "do something on the scanner"? Also: - Which Linux distribution are you using? - Which package are you using? iscan or imagescan? - Does the scanner work if you use iscan's or imagescan's GUI? Oh,I get "this device is not supported",where should I report that? XP-340 should be supported by imagescan, since [1] returns imagescan for its Linux scanner driver. Perhaps you can try opening an issue on [2], and include the output from commands `scanimage -L`, `sane-find-scanner`, `lsusb` and `utsushi list`.
