SUMMARY

When I run the simple app from this repository (https://github.com/coder8080/HappyNewYear) kde panels and effects crashes.
But when I run it in cinnamon(linux mint) everything is ok.
I tried it on virtual machine, on normal computer, using manjaro instead of kubuntu but had the same problem.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
sudo apt install git
git clone https://github.com/coder8080/HappyNewYear
cd ./HappyNewYear
sudo apt install python3
sudo apt install python3-pip
pip install pygame
python3 ./game.py

EXPECTED RESULT

Normal work

Works for me with current git master, and what a fun little game! Very cute.
