SUMMARY i have two main problems, 1. whenever my pen leaves the tablet screen the grip tool automatically turns on. 2. my pen sensitivity will just randomly stop working, and ive checked with the tablet settings, it still works there and on other programs.

Hi, for tablet issues it's better to use the forum krita-artists.org . It's much more user-oriented and user-friendly (while bugs.kde.org is technical and development-oriented).

Please do this:
- go to Configure Krita -> Tablet Settings, change to Windows Ink
- restart your PC
if it still doesn't work properly, then
- reinstall your tablet drivers
- restart your PC.
