SUMMARY
This issue was present in 20.08.3 now it is still present in 20.12.0
When I'm previewing my work there are so many audio cracks which bothers me a lot. However when I render the project the cracks disappear.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Put a video on timeline
2. Press the play buttton
3. Result

OBSERVED RESULT
Audio cracks

EXPECTED RESULT
Clean audio without any problems

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
I use the Windows version

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I had edited a project file that I directly taken from my old pc and this problem wasn't present at that time. And I'm sure my earphones and speakers work just fine.

Audio crackling issues should be fixed in the meantime. 
It could be your sound card driver. 
Lower the preview resolution https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual/Monitors#Preview_resolution and try again.
