SUMMARY

In kde4 there was a setting to show the number of unread messages on the system tray icon.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Configure the system to show the kmail icon on the system tray.
2. Wait for a message to come.

OBSERVED RESULT

Now only a star is shown.

EXPECTED RESULT

Instead of a star there should be the digits with the number of the unread messages.

This is intentional.  Unofficial patches to reenable the count are attached to the duplicate bug.
