SUMMARY
When the computer is plugged in again from standby mode, the VPN connection ("automatically activated") should be restored.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable automatically connect with vpn in network settings and restart computer
2. Putting the computer into standby
3. Bringing the computer back from standby

OBSERVED RESULT
VPN disconnected

EXPECTED RESULT
The system should reconnect to the VPN because it is defined in the network settings.

Do you have your VPN set to be automatically activated with a certain connection? If so, then I'm afraid this is not a bug on our side, but rather a bug in NetworkManager.

As I said, it's a NetworkManager issue. We do not perform any autoconnection ourself, it's all handled by NM in the background. Please open a bug for NetworkManager instead: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/issues
