Thanks for your report! I tried to reproduce, and first thought I could, but it was my footage… So please make sure this is not just an issue with a certain clip. Cuts are only well recognized if they are hard (no transitions). However there are some major changes for the scene detection coming with the transition to MLT 7 (probably for 21.08) The underlying system for scene detection has changed copmpletely now (will be in 21.08) please test with the nightly build if you still have this bug: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage_Build/ Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
