SUMMARY
Any authentication dialog triggered by SSH remote sessions are not shown in the remote session

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start up kubuntu 20.04 with SSH remote access and log in to your desktop (do NOT open konqueror!)
2. connect to this system with ssh -X
3. open konqueror
4. browse to a website that request http authentication (username / password)
5. see the not popping up of the auth dialog
6. walk to the system you started up in 1) and see the http authentication dialog

OBSERVED RESULT
the dialog is shown in 6) and not in 5)

EXPECTED RESULT
the dialog in 6) should be shown via remote X in 5)

this was working on 16.04 and 18.04!
