For a few weeks now, kdeconnect no longer cuts the music during a phone call, only this evening under gnome or plasma.

It looks like you are using a really old version of KDE Connect and Plasma. We released a new version of the Android app several weeks ago. Did you only recently upgrade?

Are you sure you entered the correct application versions? KDE Plasma 3.2 was replaced in 2004 but Manjaro didn't exist until 2011

Confirmed. With Plasma 5.20.4, kdeconnect is not stopping/pausing the multimedia playback

open the KDE Connect APP in the mobile and give permissions to Telephony notifier.
Multimedia will stop during incoming call..
