SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select a a few packages to install in the software center

OBSERVED RESULT
Auth prompt pops up, packages start to fail to install because of lack of privileges, user types in correct password, packages that are left continue to be installed.

EXPECTED RESULT
Auth prompt pops up, user types in correct password, packages continue to be installed

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux artixlinux 5.9.14-artix1-1/5.20.4
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.77.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This issue is severed by the fact that the Software Center doesn't hold the priveleges for long while the packages are installing, so installing a big package will generate an auth prompt on the next package and ruin the queue of packages

Are you saying that packages (which ones? which kind) start to install before you've supplied authentication? This is expected for Flatpak and Snap and app/plasma add-on packages, since they don't require root permission. But distro packages shouldn't start installing until *after* you've supplied credentials. Can you confirm that it was specifically distro packages that started installing early and failed?
