SUMMARY

I created a bundle and when I created it, it makes two copies of the same bundle and deactivated on its own. Every time I go to open resource management the bundles appears in the deactivated area and in order to get the bundle working I have to active both bundles and not touch resource management again because each time that I open the manager they deactivate on their own. I'm not sure what is causing it on my main computer account because when I tried with another account on the same computer it worked perfectly fine.

I think I might have found the problem! When I was creating the bundle I used a .gih file for one of the brush tips and when I removed that file from the bundle it worked fine again! I don't know why it did that though considering it was showing up as a brush tip image in the bundle creator.

I'm not sure now...I removed the brush tip from the bundle but its started doing it again..

Sorry for the late reply. We were busy rewriting the bundle/resources/tags system. I have tested your bundle in the master branch (with revision 7c0d76209e), and there the behaviour you describe no longer happens.

That sounds great! Hopefully it won't happen anymore! Is a newer update of Krita going to fix this eventually then?

Yes, this planned for Krita 5, which we're working on right now.

Thats great! I think what I found to be one of the issues was the brush tips I was using were not individual images in resource folder, but instead were from other bundles, and when I would use these brush tips, they would not appear in the new bundle. I don't remember exactly if this was what affected the bundle duplication and deactivation, but maybe it would be a helpful addition if the brush tips from bundles were catergorized differently from the ones which do not have bundles. The way I went about fixing the brush tip issue was deactivating the bundles and extracting the individual brush tips I needed and then using those to create the bundle. But if there were a naming system for the brush tips' bundle it would be easier to tell which ones are from bundles. :)
