Is Baloo indexing turned on? If so, can you find one of your music files using Dolphin's file search, or the file search in KRunner or Kickoff? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > Is Baloo indexing turned on? If so, can you find one of your music files > using Dolphin's file search, or the file search in KRunner or Kickoff? I wasn't aware of baloo indexing before, but on checking it does look to be enabled because checking balooctl status shows it has files indexed. Oddly enough, when searching for one of my songs (in dolphin), nothing shows up. Screenshots: https://i.imgur.com/LRmjeXp.png https://i.imgur.com/cmfhtNE.png Sounds like Bug 430435. If you run `balooctl purge` to re-generate the index, and then restart the computer, do results start showing up in Baloo and Elisa? Alright, it looks like it's working now. Guess baloo was the problem somehow. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 430273 *** |
