Works for me dragging text in Firefox to Kate in Plasma 5.20. Which apps are you using where this is broken? Does it work in Firefox and Kate for you? (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > Works for me dragging text in Firefox to Kate in Plasma 5.20. Which apps are > you using where this is broken? Does it work in Firefox and Kate for you? The dragging is not the issue here, but what it inhibits, namely to use of ALT + TAB to change task. ALT+TAB from FF to Kate does not work here, but curiously from Kate to FF does. Weird, works for me. Are you using X11 or Wayland? If it's X11, then the bug will be in Firefox. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information as soon as possible and set the bug status as REPORTED. Due to regular bug tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDSINFO status with no change in 30 days the bug will be closed as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME due to lack of needed information. For more information about our bug triaging procedures please read the wiki located here: https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Bug_triaging If you have already provided the requested information, please mark the bug as REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to be confirmed. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! I just noticed that also Thunderbird shows the same behaviour. If I remember well Thunderbird, Firefox are GTK applications but I could not reproduce the same behaviour (or lack thereof) in other GTK applications like gEdit. I therefore close this issue and report it elsewhere.
