New face not created from Album tab

Aloha,

digikam version 7.2.0 beta 1 on Win 10.

After digikam identifies new unknown faces, I go to the album tab, chose an image with an existing unknown face (i.e., the square around the face is already there) and assign a new name to this face (e.g., create "New Name" in people).

If  I then go the people tab, the new face is often there (not always).
Close digikam and launch it again.

The face is not listed in the people tab.

I am enclosing a log file that indicated the new face was not created.
I am not sure if this behavior is related to bug 386296.

It doesn't make sense to continue working with this database at the moment. The thumbnail database is broken and the MySQL server is still being killed. You have to wait for a new digiKam-7.2.0-Beta2 and start with a new database. By the way, your image is also write-protected.

Problems while starting digikam

Aloha,
I believe this is related to this bug.  I have over 30K unknown people and identified a single face in a previous session.

I restarted digikam.  Please see the log indicating multiple problems that may be dB related (MariaDB 10.5.8 - clean install).

The write protection is intentional.  All changes should go to the dB.
