This just started within the last few weeks.  There have been quite a few plasma/qt changes on Fedora so I can't be sure it isn't related to them - or, if the target search sites have changed something on their end.

When using tmdb receive the followinng message:
Timeout on server
api.themoviedb.org: Socket operation timed out

When using IMDB, the initial keyword search completes in a reasonable amount of time, but if you click on a specific item, it takes at least 30 seconds to return the search.  When the search is finally returned, the artwork is now always missing, even though it exists on IMDB.

I'm using F33 with:
plasma 5.20.4
qt 5.15.2
