OBSERVED RESULT
See attached screenshot: weird color for Panels in Plasma Workspace.
Also, Kickoff (menu) has weird behaviour: when mouse hovers item, submenu is not displayed but the first that is hovered get displayed on all other items.

EXPECTED RESULT
Same color and behaviour as in X11 session.

Looks like the "background contrast" effect is disabled or not working properly.

Note that the x11-session works fine. This is the same account that is used to log in a x11-session and a wayland-session. Same settings, two results.

NVIDIA hardware works under GBM now.
