The slide effect is per screen in Plasma 6, so this doesn't happen anymore |
Created attachment 133746 [details] Video of all screens while changing desktops. SUMMARY Changing desktops with the Slide effect creates jarring black bars if one screen is vertical. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have one vertical screen, taller than the other screens 2. Change desktop with the Slide animation 3. OBSERVED RESULT The horizontal screens have black bars which are very jarring. EXPECTED RESULT I would expect the horizontal screens to slide slower than the tall one. I understand why it currently does this, the black bars are there to make the screens "taller" so the animation can be in sync, but it looks very distracting.
