SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. enable wayland session (plasma)
2. launch settings/ display configuration
3.

OBSERVED RESULT

I can't select primary display, option is missing.

EXPECTED RESULT

I should be able to set a primary display to have applications (such as browser) open by default. I also want to have panel on larger display.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20201123
KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.76.0
Qt Version: 5.15.1
Kernel Version: 5.9.10-5.gcc720a5-default
OS Type: 64-bit
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20GHz
Memory: 7.7 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Mesa DRI Intel® HD Graphics 5500
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

During COVID times, many people purchased larger screens (or setup a TV) and using them as main monitor while keeping the functioning laptop display for widgets/irc/zoom. There isn't even a way to move panel to secondary screen, it sticks to the screen edge. Please leave removal of functioning options to other graphical environments.

There is no concept of a "primary screen" on Wayland. You can move your panel manually to whatever screen you want.
