To clarify, my plasma version is 5.20.3 That's weird. I guess you don't modify the connection at this moment and the only difference is Plasma 5.19 and Plasma 5.20, right? I cannot think of any change that might be causing your problem. I use OpenVPN as well and I don't have any problem with it. Was there any other package updated together with Plasma 5.20? For example anything NetworkManager related? I have a similar issue. Using the GUI and importing my .ovpn file results in being able to connect to the vpn. This happened in both OpenSuse Leap and Manjaro KDE. In Manjaro I typed: nmcli connection import type openvpn file filename.ovpn this created a vpn connection in the GUI that allowed me to connect to the vpn. I did not try this in OpenSuse. I noticed my vpn uses a non-default port; in the GUI the working vpn connection says the gateway is <ip address>:<port>. In the vpn connecttion that does not work (which I imported from the GUI) the gateway is just <ip address>. Bulk transfer as requested in T17796 Thanks for the bug report, and I'm sorry we didn't manage to figure it out yet. Can I ask you to see if this is still happening in Plasma 6.4 or later? Thanks a lot! ๐๐งน โ ๏ธ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information, then set the bug status to REPORTED.
