For some reason the notification service was being turned off. The notifications in the center of the screen were actually Vivaldi's. This is still a Latte dock issue cause there are post on Reddit with users having the same issue after installing Latte. For now the service seems to be behaving. Every desktop environment has ONLY ONE notifications service. So either that will be in Latte or in Plasma. If you want Latte to take control of notifications then you need to remove any applets from your plasma desktop or your plasma panels that are starting it for Plasma. Such applets that you need to remove them from plasma desktop/panels are Plasma Systemtray, event calendar etc... OK then that would most likely explain why it seems to be behaving now. Looks like they may of been conflicting and just shutting down the service. Thanks for the information update. On a side note Latte is a great program. I suppose that has been answered. |
