I regularly use okular for presentations.

What I miss is a highly visible pointer cursor. The cursors for the various tools are not well visible in video conferences.

This could, for example, be implemented as an additional tool (Pointer).  

I also use okular outside presentation mode (by streaming a section of my desktop, for example); for me it would be important to have this pointer cursor available also outside presentation mode.
