I followed your steps and I was unable to reproduce it. It worked as expected and did a replace all. However, I am running on Plasma and not LXQT. Is LXQT stealing the shortcut? Kate Version 20.08.3 --- Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.77.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.9.10-1-MANJARO OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz Memory: 7.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 520 Ken if you can, please supply the information requested in Comment 1. I have set the bug status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond, thank you. Apologies for the delay. I installed two other distros to check the issue I confirmed that the problem is NOT in version 19.12.1 on Fedora release 31 (Thirty One), and also NOT in version 17.12.3 on GalliumOS 3.1 (ubuntu 18.04) It is also NOT a problem on a clean install of Fedora release 32 (Thirty Two)20.08.3 The issue is still present in Version 20.08.3 Fedora release 32 (Thirty Two) I did notice that when I pressed ALT it placed an Underscore under the "A" in "Replace All". I confirmed that LXQT does not have Alt + A assigned. I did notice that when I pressed ALT it placed an Underscore under the "c" in "Replace All". I'm afraid that this is working as designed. The automatically generated Alt-... shortcuts depend on a lot of things like the translations and probably even in which order your plugins are loaded. This is hard to fix. A workaround could be to expose the button-actions as actions that you can assign shortcuts to manually. Please reopen as a wish if you want the replace all button to get a configurable shortcut. |
