Description David 2020-11-20 11:04:03 UTC
SUMMARY
Playing a radio station results in Elisa communicating wrong "currently playing" information to the OS, which reports the last played track as if it were now being played.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Play some music
2. Play a radio station
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
Tray widget, lock screen and KDE connect all report you're playing the last track played, not the radio station.

EXPECTED RESULT
Current radio station should show as being played.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 33
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.75
Qt Version: 5.15.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 David 2020-11-21 12:40:23 UTC
Adding the fact that if Elisa is started fresh and a radio station is immediately played, OS show "no media playing" instead of last played track. Media Controls keep working.
Comment 2 Jack Hill 2024-10-27 13:10:41 UTC
Thank you for the bug report. I'm marking this as resolved since I cannot reproduce this with Elisa version 24.08.2. The current behaviour is to display the name of the radio station as the track title. Feel free to re-open the issue if you can still reproduce it.
