(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kppp
Version: shipped with kde3.0 (using KDE 3.0.0 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I would like to have some kind of parental surfcontrol function in kppp. So that I can specify when(time of day) a user can connect to internet for how long time they can be connected during one day and who can connect to internet.

Some users might should be allowed to connect during days others not. Some might should be allowed to surf more then 1 hour a day. Some users might dont should be able to surf at all. Things like that is what I desperatly need right now! =)

This sounds like a matter of which users are in the group that has permissions to use the device file.

This project is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/kppp

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.

Sorry for the inconveniences.
